Most from banks or other organisations seem oversimplified and more of a way to get leads. Yet financial examination is a massively sophisticated and accountable discipline.
Personal financial is probably the least complicated area of financial but, thanks to the field, seems to shrouded in a hands off culture where everyone is unique so nothing is certain.

As others have suggested, if you’ve the propensity to be loose with your money a budget tracker (GSheet – free templates) should be top of your list to commit to for a few months straight at least, to see where each dollar is going to.
I’m a huge fan of YNAB for envelope budgeting. Not so useful for tracking share prices but it’s really helped me save more money and invest 😀
