Have you received this and what’s the catch? Obviously, you’re going to be making other people more money than what you receive.
I haven’t driven since February 8th(Friday will mark a whole month). Would this be inventive enough to return? Nope. But I’ve gotten back into a depressive funk and getting back on the horse has proven difficult.
Today, the 12th: I’ve been driving my oldest Sister’s car up to NY(she relocating back) and she’s giving me $700. (Something is something and more than anything: I need to get back to doing something.) It’s almost 3 pm and have been going at it since 6:30 – when I left central Florida; have 7:11 hrs to go. That said, I’ll probably go for the 100 rides =$990 when I get back on the 17th. Either way, Uber is not cutting it and I’ll either have to find another job or move back to NY.
What do y’all say? Driving for Uber is insane; especially under the conditions I originally laid out. To be honest: I’d rather drive these 1,200 miles in one shot – 2 times a week – than to do all the local driving and for peanuts. You have to pick up numerous strangers and when you deliver, the people aren’t grateful…!
