Hi All,
Looking for suggestions on personal money management tool to fit my needs. Hope don't mind me asking here. I've done some searching but still looking for input.
I'd like something primarily focused on budgeting and savings goals. Want auto transaction download / categorization as much as possible. Extra features around capital tracking / visibility is nice but not needed to be fancy. Automation is great, don't want to manage envelope balances (YNAB is too high maintenance for us) but more keep a view on trends and upcoming costs or goals.
Need to be able to share between my wife and I so we can both have access easily (not 2 factor sent to my telephone when she is trying to access).
I've tried Mint a while back but didn't like the adds/up sell and wasn't confident my data wasn't being used more then I'd like
YNAB or similar envelop financial plan systems are too much maintenance, we don't keep up. Got tired of moving money between envelops after the fact.
Simplifi money from quicken is ok and mostly what I'm using now, but has a lot going on – seems like we end up fighting with it more than anything, Feel savings goals are broken and would really like to be able to save for a goal in checking/savings and track spending against it.
Trying Monarch money right now. Seems ok, but just in the free trial.
Anything else recommend as good balance of keeping the process or managing finances simple, more focused on trends and savings goals? Thanks in advance!
