SEC approves applications to list ETFs tied to ethereum, so what's next?



The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given the green light to the New York Stock Exchange (^NYA) and Nasdaq (^IXIC) to begin listing ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs), but has yet to give approval to money managers that want to issue the new ethereum-exposed (ETH-USD) funds.
The regulator has not given any indication of its timeline, but Yahoo money management’s Jennifer Schonberger joins Morning Brief to discuss what is likely to happen next and sheds light on SEC Chair Gary Gensler’s recent comments.
