  1. **Patriot Act hard at work**. Takes me hours to open a new checking account and I have to give them every ID, employment history, and my first born child… JUST TO HAVE A NON-CREDIT CHECKING ACCOUNT access to my own money.

Meanwhile, the major banks are laundering drug money.

I hope the aliens get here soon. We need a better class of overlord around these parts.

  2. Of course no rich fuck is going to jail for aiding and abetting money laundering. Every step of the way it’s corrupt. That’d mean everyone including those who “police/enforce” would goto jail for being connected to it. Everyone on both sides of the fence has their hands in the honey pot. Shit is all for show to give the illusion any corrupt rich fuck would be “prosecuted and investigated”

  3. Punishment of an entire company? That will bring about a financial penalty.

Will see if criminal indictments for the Executive will stick as well. They all have Golden Parachutes.

  4. Just add them to the list. HSBC, Wachovia, Danske, Duetsche, JP Morgan, and now TD. Funny how when its a organized scheme by large financial institutions its some fines, but you or I write a bad check we get the book thrown at us. Too big to fail and too big to face real consequences.

  5. First off, “Banks” don’t commit crimes, people do. **Someone** committed a crime here.

Second, you should not be able to buy your way out of punishment for a crime. Fines are for parking tickets, not felonies.

The corruption is out of control.
