UNEP FI, UNEP, the Inter-American Development lender (IDB), IDB invest, the eco.enterprise Development Facility and its Sustainability Academy, GO4SDGs, Circular Economy Coalition organised a series of webinars exploring how financial institutions can accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The events were held in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese from June 2022 to March 2023.
The fifth and last virtual event, held on March 29, aimed to focus on the appropriate mobilization of resources to financial the transition to a Circular Economy in the Latin American and Caribbean region, highlighting the fundamental role played by financial institutions and companies. Furthermore, the Report “Unlocking Circular Economy financial in Latin America and the Caribbean: The Catalyst for a Positive Change” was launched and presented during this last webinar.
