“Carbon101x: Essential tools for the low carbon economy” is a free, public online course by the University of Queensland on edx.org. It will equip you with skills to manage the risks and opportunities of a global economy that is transitioning away from fossil fuels and other carbon-intensive practices. Adopting the role of a key employee in a fictitious firm, you will learn about different policy responses to climate change, how to measure your organisation’s carbon footprint, how to compare projects based on emissions reduction and cost, and how to participate in an emissions trading scheme. Carbon101x is ideally suited to enterprise managers, financial managers, enterprise-intelligent analysts and data scientists.
